Just a few words about myself: I was born in São Paulo, Brazil, where I started out my musical career as a pianist, chamber musician and teacher, and I have been awarded prizes for my performances and compositions in national competitions.

After moving to the UK, I started to balance my performance and composition with my interest in music technology. I have held the posts of visiting and senior lecturer at universities around the Midlands, during which I have undertaken work as a performer and promoter of contemporary music. Eventually I came around to do what I always wanted to do: write and perform soundtracks!

Currently I live in Birmingham, UK, just a couple of blocks away from Sarehole Mill - Tolkien's inspiration for Middle-Earth. Aside from my current activities as composer, producer, sound artist and teacher, I am hoping to conclude my PhD in Composition very soon....
