Maria Sennvall comes from Jämtland, in the north of Sweden, and lives now in Växjö in the south. She studied with Christina Höglund at Kapellsberg Music School and later with Janet Edmunds at the Birmingham Conservatoire, where she graduated with a Masters degree in 1996. Maria is often requested as a soloistin oratories such as the Messias and Johannes oratorio. In opera she has performed with Malmö Music theater in "Aida" and in the Skånska Operan production of "Pride and Prejudice", touring the south of Sweden. Maria is working as a freelance singer with various ensembles, and also works as a singing teacher. Anette Kormann grew up in Småland in the south of Sweden and made her debut as a Flute soloist with Tranås Orkesterförening in 1987. She studied the Flute with Ingeborg Axner vid Kapellsbergs Musikskola och sedan för Colin Lilley vid Birmingham Conservatoire, where she graduated in 1994. At the Conservatoire she participated in masterclasses with a.o. Susan Milan and played in numerous recitals. She won the Ludlow Philharmonic Prize and performed Ibert's Flute concerto. Since then, Anette has toured major parts of Sweden with various chamber ensembles, and has also performed on numerous occassions in central England. Anette now lives in Birmingham, and works as the Head of Woodwind at Solihull Music Service, as well as a free-lance Flautist, frequently performing with various ensembles. |
